Russian official: Next gas meeting better held in June

BERLIN, Apr 13 (PRIME) -- Scheduling gas talks for late June, when pumping into Ukrainian storages becomes urgent, would be the best for Russia, Ukraine and the E.U., Russian ambassador to the E.U. Vladimir Chizhov told PRIME Monday.

“The best date is the end of June,” Chizhov said.

On April 10, a representative for the European Commission said that the meeting which must be held on Tuesday was postponed because Russia, Ukraine and the E.U. had to take some time to prepare for the it.
